What parts can I use in an upgrade for the Nitro N60-610?

Member Posts: 1 New User

I bought the Nitro N60-610 Desktop back in 2021 and wanted to look into upgrading it, the one I got has a 500W Power supply, GTX 1650 graphics card, and an Intel i5-10400F Processor, I mainly want to upgrade the processor right now but am unsure of what chips the motherboard would support. I was considering the 10th Gen i7s at the minimum. or an i9 if it is an option. Any help would be appreciated.

You can upgrade your N50-610 desktop by changing the cpu to the i7-10700 and the gpu to the NVIDIA RTX 2060 SUPER 8GB GDDRVI (Acer part#: DA.20611.008) that this higher spec N50-610 desktop came with oem from Acer. Note, that the Nitro N50-610 has an Acer proprietary mainboard and PSU and its made by Acer as their own prebuilt desktop package(s) and not to be upgraded especially with another PSU, which you need if you want to upgrade to a more powerful gpu. You would be much better off buying a new 13th Gen NVidia 40 series gpu DDR5 desktop or building your own, as that would be 300% better than anything that you can upgrade this desktop to. Good luck and hope this helps you out.
