My laptop (Predator PH315-53, i7, GTX 1660 ti) randomly shuts down while playing intense games (PUBG mostly), this happened multiple times in the last few months. I have this laptop for two and a half years now, and it never happened before.

When I checked Hardware Info after restarting, I saw that my PCH (CML QX50_CMS) had reached a maximum temperature of 100 °C and that my ACPI. PredatorSense showed a system temperature of 95 °C. My CPU was also overheating at 85 °C. My GPU was at 75 °C.

I read somewhere online that I may have a faulty motherboard. I would like to know if I can lower my temperatures, by maybe putting a thermal pad on my PCH if possible. Or is there a bigger problem I have to worry about?

Thanks for your help
