Hi,

My laptop is a Nitro AN515 gaming laptop. My charger and battery are in good condition and I routinely inspect and clean the interior of my laptop with no obvious issues to the battery/ports. Last night, my laptop was plugged in with the factory standard charger, when I heard a pop. I looked over, and the area around the port was "arc-ing". A second later, there was a large 10cmx10cm flame, and the smell of burning plastic. I immediately unplugged everything from the wall.

Fortunately, my laptop is still turning on, though I have yet to run a diagnostics. I see the charger is made from "Delta Electronics Inc" and have already reached out to them (charger model ADP-180TB F).

Extremely nervous about what to do next. Clearly a huge safety/fire hazard that this could happen with my laptop just sitting there plugged in (i.e. I was lucky I was home or my house could have burned down!). What next?

Thanks in advance.
