I have tried everything I can think of including reinstalling audio drivers and trying to update and restart my laptop but I'm having no luck.

If your audio chip/speakers are Realtek, uninstall Realtek audio drivers in Safe Mode with DDU: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000091878/graphics.html and just reboot, windows will reinstall the proper drivers. DDU is W10 but works with W11 and can be used to uninstall Intel, AMD and RTK display and audio drivers.
