My laptop - Acer Aspire 7 A715-41G-R7MZ (NH.Q8LEU.004) Charcoal Black

I need to reset bios settings on my laptop. Now it does not turn on because of an error in the bios settings that I made. I tried removing the battery and bios battery overnight but it didn't help me

If your laptop is still under warranty, I recommend not opening it as that may void the 2-year warranty. Check if there is a small pinhole in the back of your laptop (with a battery symbol) and stick a pin in that hole till you feel it click (micro switch), keep pressing the pin for a few seconds. This will reset the battery.

If not concerned about the Acer warranty, try this: Power drain + CMOS reset: Open the back of the laptop and disconnect the battery cable from the motherboard. Locate the CMOS module (with 2 twisted wires Red and Black under the battery) and remove the coin battery. Shorten the +/- contacts inside the CMOS capsule for 2 seconds with a bended paperclip and put the coin battery back with the + sign facing up, close the CMOS capsule. Unseat the 2 SODIMMs and firmly secure the modules back in the slots. Next, press the Power Button on the keyboard for 10-15 seconds after that reconnect the battery cable to the motherboard. Close the laptop, plug-in the adapter and try to boot.

Take the laptop to Acer Tech Support in your country, as Acer will reprogram the bios chip for a minimal charge, don't try and fix this yourself as you will brick your laptop. If you are unlucky, it could be a faulty chipset and then you will need a new chipset if you can buy one for this laptop, if not, then you will need a new mainboard, as that can also happen when you have no bios and a booting laptop. Good luck.
