Troubleshoot this issue with the below steps and if this doesn't fix the problem then you have an issue in the main charging rail of your laptop that you need to take your laptop to either Acer support or a technician in your area. Good luck.

    Recalibrate the Battery:

    a) Unplug the charger when the battery charge LED turns from steady orange to steady blue.

    b) Continue using the laptop without the charger plugged in until the automatic Windows low battery alert appears (usually between 7-10%).

Then plug the charger back in1.

    a) Check Power Settings:

    b) There might be an issue with your computer’s power settings. Run the Power troubleshooter to identify common power-related problems and find a solution2.

Uninstall these 2 battery drivers (picture) and reset BIOS to factory defaults, save settings and reboot. If it still won't charge my guess is a bad power adapter, these don't last very long. Try a different adapter that fits the DC barrel port of your laptop or get an extra power adapter as a back-up they cost between $20-$30.
