Screen brightness flickering Issue in XZ342CK 32" curved widescreen monitor

I have the XZ342CK 32" curved widescreen. Lately it has been flickering in terms of brightness. It's not completely flickering to black, it's almost like it's dimming for a half second multiple times in a row. It happens intermittently.

I bought it refurb on Amazon....is there anything I can do to troubleshoot? I've tried:

Different power strip
Different refresh rates
Different inputs
Different computers
Different wall outlet
Different settings on the monitor such as freesync on and off
I also just tried a new power cord, no dice.

Check to make sure your display setting in Windows doesn't have something like adaptive brightness turned on.
