Can I upgrade the SSD of my Acer Aspire 3 314-36P?
Tinkerer
Considering after realizing my RAM could never be upgraded after learning the fact it's soldered, can I upgrade my SSD with a faster and bigger than 256GB (or at least 512GB if that's cheaper) SSD to fully utilize virtual memory instead? If so, should I know what specific SSDs should I use?

Hi,
Yes, you can upgrade M.2 NVMe SSD up to 1TB in your model.

Hey! thanks for the reply! Do you know any SSD M.2 upgrades that rivals minimum RAM speed in terms of using virtual memory (paging files)?

Those are three different subjects not related to each other: NVMe Gen3 SSD storage speed is 3 GB/sec, RAM bandwidth ("speed") is for your laptop with 8GB of LPDDR5: 5200 MHz while virtual memory or Page File is expressed in GB. The M.2 NVMe SSD recommended by Brummyfan2 would be like the Samsung 970 Pro Evo V-NAND one of the most popular SSDs on the market ($92) https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-970-EVO-Plus-MZ-V7S1T0B/dp/B07MFZY2F2?th=1
