    I just want to let you know how Acer support responded to the non-working USB-C interface.

    "Unfortunately we have to inform you that the USB-C interface installed in your notebook does not provide DP transmission, and therefore not with standard USB-C Docking stations compatible.

    It is therefore only possible to operate a single external monitor via the HDMI interface." (Google Translator)

    I'm speechless. Additionally, Acer sold an additional “1 to 4 USB-C adapter” that was supposed to be used on this non-working interface!

    That really seems shady as the advertised specs include support.     The Aspire A715-74G has a USB 3.1 Type-C port and a USB 3.0 Port with no display out. The only display out is from this laptop HDMI 2.0 port that has a Data Thoroughput of 18Gbps, you cant plug an Acer 4-in-1-Dongle Type-C into this laptop USB 3.1 Type-C or USB 3.0 ports and get display out capabilities.

    I have now ordered a USB3.0 to DP adapter. Thanks for the tip. I'm just wondering why Acer sells an adapter that doesn't work with the computer. I didn't order them individually, but all together.
