Thunderbolt port not working on Predator Triton 17X after Wi-Fi card upgrade

I've recently upgraded the Wi-Fi card on the laptop to an Intel BE200 Wi-Fi7 card, which went fine, new card detected straight away, connected to wireless network and better reception than the AX1690i which came with the laptop.

However, after the upgrade, there is one major issue, the left thunderbolt port does not recognize any thunderbolt devices and nor does the Display Port over USB-C work anymore.

It only recognizes USB-C devices, like let's say a WD Passport USB-C HDD, but doesn't work as a Thunderbolt or USB-C DisplayPort port any longer.

I wonder what happened, as initially I thought there is some resource sharing conflict, but there are no errors in Device Manager. I've tried removing the Thunderbolt controller driver, updating it, removing USB drivers, etc. but the issue is not fixed. Also, putting back the original Wi-Fi card didn't solve the issue.

I think this is a hardware issue as the BIOS doesn't detect my TB4 external HDD either when plugged in the left port, whereas it does so when plugged in the right one (see screenshot). Neither does the Windows installer recognize the hard drive when plugged into the faulty port.

I have no idea what may have happened by upgrading the Wi-Fi card on the laptop but that certainly raises concerns about the build of these laptops. I probably have no option but to send it for repair.

P.S. I've tried downgrading the BIOS from current version 1.07 to 1.06 but the update software doesn't allow the downgrade.
