Why is my Acer Aspire 3 so slow?! Is there a particular reason for this and can I fix it?

My biggest issue with my laptop (Acer Aspire 3) is its performance. Simple tasks as using the internet, Microsoft office or any application for that manner runs poorly. This quality of speed does not reflect the SSD memory and fast speed as promised by acer. I am a student so it is important that I can efficiently use my laptop. The laptop is so slow I dread having to use it. Is there a particular reason for this and can I fix it?

Steps to Speed-up your Acer Aspire laptop:-
1: Remove Virus or Malware in Your PC

2: Clean Up Hard Drive to Free More Space

3: Disable Some Unwanted Startup Programs
4: End the Processes of Unnecessary Apps
5: Extend the Virtual Memory via This PC
6: Replace Your Hard Drive with a Larger SSD

This is my second Acer Aspire. I had my first one for years because it ran so well. When Time caught up to it, I tried a different laptop, but the hinge broke and the piddly hard drive filled up with Windows updates. I bought a new Aspire 3, with reasonable RAM and processing and hard drive, based on my old requirements updated. But this thing is SLOW. It takes 5 minutes to boot up. AND I have disabled EVERYTHING I can get away with. I've even uninstalled programs I wanted because I couldn't get to emails during my lunch break. Five minutes is a significant percentage of a forty minute break. This is not user incompetence, or lack of action. It's either deliberate bloatware, or the construction of this laptop is inferior to the model I used to have five years ago.

And what can we do about this? Complain directly to the company? No, we can join a "Community forum" where other users try to help us fix problems so that Acer doesn't have to pay support staff. I'm sick of seeing this everywhere - no contact with the parent company, no chance to put your case or ask that they step up. Just pushing off responsibility on hobbyists who don't seem to realise they're unpaid support staff. You let me down, ACER. Your product has decreased in quality.
