My charging port for laptop E5-774 doesn’t work anymore. Can someone provide me with the product code of the charging port that I need to replace the charging port?

And eventually the product code of the battery?

Thank you very much.

Peer inside the port with a flashlight. Is the center pin is straight and at least one slider contact visible?

The battery pack is a commodity item made by several different battery manufacturers. Google search 'e5-774' & 'battery' for vendors who ship new battery packs to your location. About $25usd.

this seems to be correct. Or not?

Camera shot needs to be perpendicular with charger jack to see if sliders on the side are visible head on and the pin is centered. Can't tell when the photo of the jack is taken at an angle to the camera.

You're rhe best judge since you have the jack right in front of you. The sliders are springy and must make firm contact with the plug's outside barrel.

When you plug in the charger, does the charge LED to the right of the power LED on the front edge blink or light up? If not, try wiggling the plug to see if the LED will light up.

If the LED doesn't light up, do you have a multimeter to see if the voltage between the charger plug's center hole and outer barrel is at least 19volts?

I checked this out, and as far as I'm concerned, the pin is very nicely central. What I do notice is that one of the sliders is much further out than the other.
This causes poor contact with the charger. When I plug the charger into the laptop, the light does not come on. But when I move the charger to the outward slide, I do get contact, and the light comes on.
Is there any way to bend those slides inwards a bit, so that I can make more contact again?
I measured the voltage with the multimeter, and it is 19 volts.
Thanks in advance for the good help.

Yes. Absolutely. That's the fix. You can try using a toothpick to try to hook the back of the slider to bend it inward toward the center pin. If you disconnect the battery pack, you could also use a metal pick or tweezers .
