Hi

I have a problem with my new Triton X17, 2tb ssd. After receiving laptop and updating system I decide to do what I always have done, to divide the disk into partitions. I have installed the program, divided main partition C: into two additional. Operation required restarting . Unfortunately after restarting it doesn't get into Windows anymore. It says that automatic Repair couldn't repair my PC.

I tried creating recovery disk on another computer, but when I try to use it it also fails. It says that in order to recover system I need to choose which Eindows Installation I want to recover(???)

Any ideas what happened and what I should do?

There is option of buying from Acer Recovery Disk (USB), even though I could do it only when I get home in like a month, but would it even work?

You never ever repartition or add any additional partitions to a boot drive, as you have destroyed the Acer recovery partition. The Predator PTX17-71 is a high-end laptop that has 2x PCIe Gen4,16 Gb/s, NVMe M.2 SSD drive slots, if you want to increase this laptops storage then add another 2TB or 4TB PCIe Gen4, 16 Gb/s, NVMe drive into slot #2 as shown below on the right side of the PTX17-71 mainboard, as M.2 #1 slot is for the boot drive, as then you will have plenty more capacity for storage.

The only way that you can recover your oem Acer Win-11 is to buy and wait for the Acer Recovery Disk (USB) or an easier and quicker way, is to construct a Microsoft Win-11 version 23H2 USB with Rufus 4.4 and put the Win-11 23H2 ISO onto this USB and also put the PTX17-71 unzipped IRST (Intel® Rapid Storage Technology) Driver version 19.5.1.1040 from the Predator PTX17-71 support page, as if you do a clean install you will need this driver when you get to the Win-11 OS installation section at Where do you want to install Windows > Load driver and then you need to load this IRST driver so that Win-11 installation can recognizes your M.2 SSD boot drive and you can continue the Win-11 installation. Good luck and hope this helps you out.
