Hello all. Just got this laptop… wanted to play borderlands on high graphics (mine is RTX4060) it crashed on ultra high… so am wondering if borderlands 2 can run good on windows 7 on high graphics… is it possible to install windows 7 on window 11 separate partition? I already tried and the UEFI does not change or I cannot change it to windows 7… so can windows 7 be installed on windows 11 Acer Nitro 17 and how?

Theoretically you can install Windows 7 on a Windows 11 laptop but these are some of the issues that you might have:

    1. Drivers and Compatibility:
    • Windows 7 is no longer officially supported by Microsoft, which means that newer hardware (like your Windows 11 laptop) may not have specific drivers available for it.
    • Installing Windows 7 directly on your laptop might be challenging due to driver issues.

    2. Security Considerations:

    • Keep in mind that Windows 7 is no longer receiving security updates. Using it poses a security risk, as vulnerabilities won’t be patched.
    • If you decide to proceed, ensure that you have robust security measures in place, such as a reliable antivirus program and a secure network.

    3. Virtual Machine Option:

Remember that while it’s technically possible to install Windows 7 on your new Win-11 laptop, it’s not recommended due to security risks and lack of official support. Consider using a virtual machine for a safer experience.  Good luck.

Sorry, no. Win7 also does not have device drivers for the newer hardware that wasn't even invented yet when all Win7 support ended.
