Hi,
I have Predator laptop model - Predator PH315-54.

Currently, it has :
Intel Processor - i7-11800H Octa-core (8 Core™)
RAM - 16 GB DDR4, SSD - 512 GB
Dedicated graphics card - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050Ti - 4GB GDDR6

But it is lagging in normal basic gaming (Roblox, etc).
Please advise there is a need for some setting to remove game lagging.

Thanks,
Sam

Allow only Security updates Disable all other updates in Windows 10/11, only push updates after they are at least 6 months old so they have time for the bugs to be worked out. Only use Drivers Provided by Acer. Turn off all non essential applications during game play.

    Thanks @KJN9000000 .

This predator laptop was auto upgraded to Win 11 last year (2023).

Kindly suggest if this upgrade or any Win 11 setting may have caused this lagging issue ?

Also there is a lot of FAN running on this laptop always. Is there a possibility of hardware issue ?

    Thank you

Windows 11 itself shouldn't be causing the lag but check the graphics drivers try using the original driver and see if the issue persists. Check your running programs, if too many are running in the background while playing a game it can cause slow down issues. Overheating can cause issues if you are playing with the laptop on a bead or a couch so the air flow is restricted. If you have filled your ssd to near max capacity with games it wont read and write at its listed speeds which cause the OS to have stutters and slow downs while the drive catches up as it moves bytes around. The fan running all the time could be adjusted in Predator Sense dashboard but may indicate a cooling issue like thermal paste not being applied correctly. You could have a technician reapply thermal compound I recommend the GELID Extreme. If its still under Warranty contacting Acer's warranty department about a claim would be my first choice.
