Predator PHN16-71 had to do a fresh new reinstall

Just got this over a week ago and I like to customize as much as I am able, something extremely minor happened and instead of doing what I should have done, I just did a system restore as I made a restore point before tinkering. System Restore messed up and I had to do a complete wipe/reinstall Win11. Been updating windows etc etc. One thing I noticed is that now, Intel's control panel is no longer showing up in my systems tray and in fact, its nowhere to be seen.

Should I have manually updated some drivers from the my models download drivers section and if so, which drivers should I uninstall before installing the ones specific for my model?

You don't need Intel's graphics control panel, that is the first thing I uninstall on a new laptop.

I asked because Iris Xi Graphics driver warned me that the graphics driver from Intel will remove customizations from my laptop's manufacturer, tho I can't seem to find on Acer's site its equivalent they are warning about.

But yeah, I clean out bloatware in most of my machines and sometimes you need to get into the registry which I have done 100 times in the past. Always saved a backup and always made a restore point before hand but something went[Sensitive Content]up and wanted to try to get everything back to how it was out of box.

The only control panels that you will have is the Intel Graphics Command Centre and Intel Arc Control, with these laptops most current Intel drivers you need to install the Intel® Driver & Support Assistant and for the NVidia install the GeForce Experience software as both of these scanners will inform you of new drivers just like windows update does. If you install the latest Intel graphics for the Iris Xi Graphics then the Arc Control will be in the taskbar, or you can trigger both Graphics Command Centre and Intel Arc Control from the start menu > all apps. Make sure that the last bios version 1.13 is installed also.

    Uh, too little too late?

I COMPLETELY forgot to thank you all for helping me and I didn't mean to be rude or disregard everyone who replied. I got caught up with real life stuff and forgot to come on back to let you know everything is good.

    Thanks
