how do I contact acer with a question

On August 23, 2012, I bought an Acer desktop computer from Walmart in Fremont California.

On March 13, 2013 I had to have the hard drive replaced. Yes that's correct dating. Six months after purchasing your product the hard drive had to be replaced.

On March 10, 2013, the computer automatically went to restart mode and was unable to accomplish restarting. I shut the computer down, waited, then tried to restart it myself. Nothing!! I tried again, nothing!!

I brought the computer to Staples and had their computer techs take a look. Having used them before, I had full confidence in their abilities to diagnose the problem. They kept the computer for 2 days trying to start it and running diagnostics to determine the problem.

They called me and told me that the hard drive was no longer working and said it needed to be replaced. I gave permission and they replaced it at a cost of $75.00. Because I have a contract with them, there was no charge for labor.

I am aware that after only six months, this should not have happened and would like to know if there is anything that Acer will do to offset this "unnecessary" expenditure.

I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest converience.

I'm not sure why you have had multiple hard drive issues, and that is unfortunate.

However, you should have called Acer for assistance with the system, rather than Staples.

It would have been repaired under warranty.
