Best charger for your Nitro laptop is the oem barrel plug charger that Acer provides for your laptop, USB-C chargers like the one above will charge your laptop if you don't use the laptop and you don't have the oem Acer Nitro barrel charger with you and you ONLY need to charge your laptop in an emergency. I'm using a 200W universal adapter that has a USB-C, see the RavPower’s website and for emergencies of USB-C charging on the go for my Nitro laptop charging only, but I bought this charger for other charging options that its got and not specifically for the Nitro laptop, as it does charge my Nitro AN515-56 in emergencies only.

Note: Acer does not have an oem USB-C charger for their 2024 new released Nitro laptops so that should be a sign that USB-C chargers are not recommended for these laptops to charge and play games, so be aware of that as you can cause damage to your laptop. Wait until Acer releases a specific USB-C Nitro adapter for the Nitro laptops, that is the best advise that I can give you, so only use the supplied charger. Read this comprehensive guide "Why you don’t want a USB-C charger for your gaming laptop". Good luck and hope this helps you out.

I am guessing your model is a Nitro AN515-58, since 58v0 isn't an Acer model number. Your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like ANxxx-xxx-xxxx. If it is an AN515-58 it came originally with a 180W, 230W or 280W power supply and supports USB-C charging at only 65W or 100W. That means though you can use a USB-C charger, it's likely not going to keep up with the demand when the laptop is on and gaming. It would help the battery last longer in that environment, but you are better off using the stock charger if you don't want to battery to drop. If you are just web browsing and such it might keep up though…

It´s an AN515-58-58V0. I use the laptop for gaming only when i´m in home, when i've to work outside of it i don't game, i only use it for web browsing and coding. The main idea of get an usb c charger is that the stock charger it´s to heavy so, i'd use the original at home and the type c outside. In that context, would it be worth it buy and type c charger?

    Thank you for the comments.

Hi, thank you for the info and the article, i appreciated so much. The article says that the laptop would do a normal performance with a 100 watt usb c charger under light task like web browsing and not gaming, obviously. In that context, i have to mention that i only game in home, when i've to work outside i do light cpu task like coding and web browsing and i found very inneficient carry all the weight of the original charger.

Thank you again for the info.

If the 100W charger is substantially less weight than the stock charger, and you can live with the chance that you might gradually lose charge when it's in use rather than maintain or gain charge you should be good to go with it. I expect you will find for your usage it will be just fine.
