I have changed my SSD with 1Tb. All good. When i changed with one of 2Tb, it's not seen in bios. The 2Tb SSD is working fine on other laptop.

All bios update's is up to date.

My laptop is ACER Aspire 3 Spin 14 A3SP14-31PT-3096, Intel Core i3-N305.

It's limited to 1Tb storage ? Any idea is welcome.

Yes, the Kingston must be doing something funky when queried for it's specs by the BIOS. Since it actually works and the OS sees it without issues I'd leave well enough alone.

The Acer Aspire A3SP14-31PT has a the following specs for storage:

Update the bios to the laptops last version 1.08 as the 2TB M.2 SSD should be recognized in Win-11 as it uses the GUID (GPT) format that works with drives above 2TB capacities, also and it should be visible in Disk Management. Look in Disk Management then you need to right click on the drive and initialize the drive and give it a drive letter and format the drive to GPT and then it will be shown in Windows File Explorer, its a very simple process, as a 2TB drive should be recognized in Win-11 and in GPT format. The laptop storage only quotes a 256GB or 512GB. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

M.2 SSD drives listed in this laptops SG as compatible and used by Acer:

Thank you for your time to response.

As you can see from may pic attached on post, it's no recognized by BIOS the 2Tb SSD. Before Win, BIOS must see the SSD and it's not. With 1Tb it's working fine. If support 1Tb why not and 2Tb? I attached a photo with the 1Tb SSD.

Your picture doesn't show an attempt to put a 2TB drive in, it shows the 1TB drive installed. Whet does it show with the 2TB in there? It is possible the drive itself doesn't like being in a 2 channel environment instead of 4 channel, but they are supposed to support back revved systems.

Even if the 2Tb SSD is not seen in the BIOS, windows 11 boots and works. Strange.
