I have a problem with my laptop.  It does not run on battery, although it says that the battery is 96 percent charged.  When I unplug the cable it turns off.  Also, I start some game, it turns off after a minute.

There were no such problems before, the laptop is already 2 years old.  Please tell me what the problem is and what it does to me.

You may have a bad battery, create a Battery Report in Windows and check the charging and discharging profiles, if the last battery capacity is way down when fully charged, the battery died, and you have to replace it.

The fault that you are experiencing could be from numerous sources, as a 2 year old battery should not be causing this fault, you need to check the following issues with your laptop:

    1. Check the battery’s condition if the battery is not swollen or damaged
    2. Perform Power Cycle
    3. Check Power Management Settings
    4. Check for Faulty Battery Drivers
    5. Check for Corrupt Chipset Drivers and BIOS

Do battery report, press Windows + ‘R’ and type cmd in the Run dialog box to open Command Prompt. Run the command powercfg /batteryreport. It will save the battery life report and provide the file path. Copy the file path, paste it into the address bar of a browser, and press Enter. The battery life report will be displayed on your screen. Observe the Full charge capacity value and compare it to the Design capacity. If it is reduced to 4000 – 6000 mWh or below 10 % of design capacity, you need to replace the battery. Good luck and hope this helps you out.
