did not install anything but My Acer Spin5 touchscreen doesn't work, even in tablet mode

I have Windows 10.

I didn't install anything new that I can think of, but a few days ago the touch screen just stopped working - also in tablet mode. The pen works as usual.

What can cause this? How can I fix it? Please be very specific

We are going to need more info from you. There have been a lot of Spin 5 models over the years, which do you have? Your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like SP5xx-xxx-xxxx. If you open Device Manager, does it show any errors or warnings, even if not obviously associated with the touch screen?
