Is this SSD compatiable? looking to add a second SSD into my Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55

Im looking to add a second SSD into my Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55 and am not sure if this one will work.

I currently have a 512 ssd in that the laptop came with and was also wondering if I could add an additional 2tb ssd, or if i should only add 1tb more.

Yes, that SSD will work but it will run at half the speed quoted in a Gen3x4 PCIE slot, there are two M.2 PCIe slots for NVMe 2280 SSDs Gen3 x4, I recommend Samsung 870 Pro Evo 1TB as this has been tested by Benchmark: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/42978561#DRIVE

The Nitro AN515-55 laptop has a PCIe3x4 speed SSD 1 and SSD 2 slot, the drive that you have a link to is a PCIe4x4 that is backward compatible but the laptop wil never ever utilize the PCIe Gen4 Up to 7300MB/s as its advertised. Buy a PCIe3x4 type M.2 SSD drive as they are cheaper and your laptop will utilize their speed fully.
