I asked acer support how to do this and didn't get anything useful out of it I asked if there is a password involved from the factory and they gave me 1234 or 0000 as two known to use.

Chat produced a fella regurgitating MS account…. nonsense for all my inquiries I said after the first reference I used a local user account not microsoft account for computer login lol

The entire security section is locked on my nitro 17 Part Number: NH.QKMAA.001

Funny thing is the only item not locked is add password lol

But that is literally all it took to unlock the security section whom would of thunk it was that easy !

Acer thanks for giving owners the control over TPM settings so we can disable MS attempt to use bitlocker now inform your support staff !

Secure boot isn't a big deal but always nice to be able to control it with some of the stuff MS is coming up with this April in security updates.

Secure Boot bypass leveraged by the BlackLotus UEFI bootkit which requires physical or administrative access to the device.

Game is already lost if you loose direct physical access of your machine lol

CAUTION Once the mitigation for this issue
is enabled on a device, meaning the revocations have been applied, it
cannot be reverted if you continue to use Secure Boot on that device.
Even reformatting of the disk will not remove the revocations if they
have already been applied. Please be aware of all the possible
implications and test thoroughly before applying the revocations that
are outlined in this article to your device.
