In acer predator helios 300 & want to use the battery limiter but it seems to always turn itself off

Hi there,

I have an acer predator helios 300 and i want to use the battery limiter but it seems to always turn itself off for no reason. it is a pain to deal with as i had to replace my laptop battery recently due to the battery dying way to quickly.

If you mean that your Acer Care Centre > Battery Charge Limit doesn't work or reduce charge to 80%, then that has nothing to do with the battery charging and/or saving your battery, as this battery charge limit to 80% is a gimmick. You need to make sure that your laptops charger adapter is fully charging and/or your laptops charging main rail is not faulty also, as those are the only things that could affect the charge of your new battery. Have an experienced technician check your laptop for any faults with those issues. Good luck.
