Nitro 5 (model N17C1) screen does not turn on & keyboard and power signal keeps blinking

Hello everyone. Recently I tried to do some clean in my Acer Nitro 5 (model N17C1) laptop and when I tried to turn it on later, suddenly the screen did not turn on and the keyboard and power light kept blinking around 5 seconds with lights on and 1 second with lights off. The only relevant change I did to the battery was to disconect it from the motherboard and I did so like 5 minutes after i turned off the laptop. I tried to do the reset of the battery but I do not really know how many time should I do so since I saw differents time spans on other forums, so I have tried 4, 5, 20, 30 seconds and even a minute without any result. Could this mean my battery is dead? I do not think so since it was working properly before I started the laptop´s cleaning.

I hope you disconnected the battery before touching anything inside. I recommend bringing the laptop to Acer Services in your country to reset the EPROM/BIOS and check the motherboard.

Also try to do a Hard Reset by FIRST AND ALWAYS disconnecting and taking the main battery out and disconnecting the power adapter plug, then disconnect the RTC/BIOS battery and short its mainboard +&- pins with a small flat metal screwdriver to reset the CMOS, then take the ram out and leave the laptop for 15min disconnected like that. Afterwards, reconnect everything and reboot laptop, as this rest should reset all the major EC and BIOS chip in your laptop and make your laptop boot. If it doesn't then you could have shorted or damaged circuitries on the laptops mainboard which needs an experience technician to analyze and fix where the problem exactly is.
