Hi there,
I have an issue with an SSD upgrade I am attempting on my Acer Nitro 5155-55(-79hl).
Replacing the existing 512Gb SSD with a new 4Tb SSD in Slot1 (after cloning) OR in Slot2 with the original boot drive still in Slot1 (before OR after cloning), causes BSOD on repeat when booting:
Until now, I was successfully running the SK Hynix 512GB BC511 (hfm512gdjtni-82a0a ba) PCIe M.2 2280 (

) SSD which came with the laptop:
I was hoping to move to a new Crucial P3 Plus 4TB M.2 PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD (CT4000P3PSSD801), but this drive is causing BSOD (Stop code: 'KERNAL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE') on repeat whenever connected internally, regardless of whether it is being used as the boot drive or not.
Crucial have a compatibility checker which agrees that the new 4Tb SSD should be compatible:

I have managed to connect it externally via a USB-C enclosure, which allowed me to do the clone in the first place (via Acronis, recommended by Crucial). But that's as far as I can get - to view it in disk manager:
Are there steps I can take to resolve the reoccurring BSOD for the new SSD?
thanks!
My issue is similar to @Clquake in another thread (unresolved):
