Hi as you will see this is my first post and I need some help.

On my Acer Aspire Verio AV15-51(windows 11) in the settings Bluetooth & devices - "other devices" it shows multiple devices in a long list that are not connected for example - Genie Media Servers and PC:Laptop they show as - not connected but and I am unable to remove them by clicking on the "remove device" button as it just sits there showing "removing device but nothing actually changes.

How can I remove these items and can I remove them in a batch?

"Duplicate" drivers won't affect Windows performance, sometimes installers are not detecting an adapter and will install the same driver again or there are several drivers that are named the same for different devices, just leave it alone: "If it ain't broke don't fix it"

There are methods to clean-up the Windows driver repository, but this requires experience and is not recommended for starters.

Hi thanks for looking at my issue and for the advice.
The reason I found out that I had multiple drivers was when trying to add a device - Sony SRS-XB13 Blue tooth speaker - when I try to the instruction box appears and I select the type of device from the 3 categories. The laptop is set to "discoverable" and the speaker set to pair however the settings page stops working the cursor as a blue spinning circle. I am unable to close the settings page but I am able to open other apps excel etc and go on line. I either have to restart the laptop to be able to open settings. However if I try to pair laptop to my phone I can see laptop on the phone and select pair on the phone it try's but fails to pair.
I thought that the number of "ghost drivers" may have been the cause. If it is not are there any other things I can try?
