This may be the Power Plan and BIOS settings, reset both Power Plan in Windows, reset to factory defaults and in BIOS press F9, save settings and exit BIOS. If you did not make a full charge cycle before using the new laptop which may result in charging issues that you experience. Remove peripherals, monitors and USB devices from the laptop, disable Hibernate and Fast Startup in "Change what closing the lid does" and in "Change settings that are currently unavailable", shut down the correct way by clicking on Start on the task bar and on Power-Shutdown. Close the lid and plug in the adapter, charge till the amber battery LED turns blue with the lid closed and wait another 10 minutes to ensure the battery is charged 100%. Boot to Windows, check that the battery is fully charged and unplug the adapter, use the laptop on battery only all day till the system shuts down automatically (battery drained to 2-4%). Close the lid and plug in the power adapter, repeat the charging till the amber battery LED turns blue with additional 10 minutes and boot to Windows, create a battery report and check the last battery capacity, this must be close to the design capacity. If not. your adapter is either not powerful enough/bad plug connection or the battery has a bad cell.

Don't open and/or try to waste your time on fixing this laptop, as this laptop is still under Acer warranty, its allot better and easier and quicker to send your Aspire 3 A315-59G laptop to Acer Tech Support in your country so that they can fix this power issues, especially if you had this right from new, as there must be some major issues .

as i said it happens sometimes or rarely. Not too important actually but disappointed because it is a new laptop.I bought it for acer durability yet still heavy and solid though it is cheap.Still better fix hardware issues.
