On Acer Chromebook 314, tried to register, entered S/N numb, & on saving item not found error.

I've just bought an Acer Chromebook 314 and tried to register it. Entered S/N number and I was told on saving item not found. tried again using SNID no and was told on saving that product already registered: Does that mean my guarantee/warranty is set up.
