Hello, commmunity! I recently bought the Acer Nitro AN515-58 with intel i5 12450h and rtx 3050 and it's strange that I can'tget the gpu to work. In bios or nitro sense it won't show to let me choose the dedicated gpu. It only works on the intel uhd graphics…I looked on the all internet and didn't found my problem. All the drivers, windows and bios are updated. Nvidia driver it's 546.33, Windows 10 it's on 22H2 and Bios version it's 2.09. I really can't find what's the problem guys. Can you help me solve it? I really want to use the dedicated gpu for the best experience that this laptop can on this gpu. For example in minecraft I only have 100fps when on youtube on the same laptop other guys has 300fps. My gpu really doesn't work on this laptop even if I choose it from nvidia control panel or windows display settngs. So what's to blame?

The Nitro 5 AN515-58 should ONLY be operated with Win-11 and all its drivers and NOT Win-10. If you are operating this laptop under Win-10 then change it back to Win-11 and update the bios to this laptop last bios version 1.10 and see if the RTX3050 gpu works., as its very strange that your new laptops NVidia RTX3050 gpu doesn't work.

If the above doesn't work, then I hope that you didn't open the laptop and try to fix anything inside, as Acer could void your 12 months warranty. Send your Nitro 5 AN515-58 back to where you bought the laptop from or to Acer Tech Support and go to Repair My Acer in your country under Support section and claim a warranty repair so that Acer technicians can change the mainboard for a new board, as a gpu can't be repaired and/or changed. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

Well now by magic the graph in the task manager works but still it feels like it only runs on the iGPU because it has so low fps compared with the same model benchmarks found on youtube and google. I didn't opened and tried to send it to waranty but they said that is performing as expected…I mean what? The benchmarks said otherwise. I mean in what world 100fps is equal to 300fps? So the only problem it's that I can't find why it has so low fps. I don't think that windows 11 would do much because I tried to install it first time and got an error so I skiped it. Any way to solve it?
