How can the BIOS firmware be verified ?

Can the BIOS itself be verified for proper verification with Acer's firmware ?

"Post" is the first check after you press the power button, the fact that you can boot to Windows means BIOS /UEFI is OK, if you boot to BIOS with F2 you can see all the BIOS details in the Main tab. In Device Manager click on Firmware and on properties of BIOS and you will see the version. If you type System in Search the BIOS version will show in System info. Visit the Acer Support site for you model to see what latest version BIOS is available. If you think you have adapter, system issues or BIOS is corrupted you can reset your BIOS with F9 (in BIOS) and save setting on exit.

I am not using windows. Your answer does not give me a way to verify the BIOS. Acer does not provide a SHA hash to verify their firmware.

Verification of the BIOS means an method that performs a SHA hash to ensure the BIOS is valid in conjunction with Acer's firmware expectations.

When I try to upgrade my BIOS to the latest it fails. See the below which i noticed another forum member had the same problem.
