Hi, I have an Acer Aspire 5 A515-57G-735F that I bought on Amazon.

Well, when I started to review the characteristics of the same and yes, it actually has 16 GB of RAM, but when I look closely are distributed in the two slots of the PC, ie 8GB in each slot. My intention was to buy another 16 GB memory and put it to reach the maximum that this laptop assimilates, which is 32 GB.

Now, I was looking at the exact types of memory that my laptop has and it is Samsung M471A1K43EB1-CWE DDR4-3200 1600MHz. Searching Google directs me to Amazon and I see that there are several options of 16GB memory (See the links below) I need you to suggest me which of the two modules to buy, these modules come with two 16GB memory (32 total), but I do not want to fail in the purchase and for that reason I turn to this forum. One module costs 104 and the other 108. It seems to me that the one with 108 has better features, but I wait for your suggestions to decide and not to make false steps. Below are the links. I put an image of the memories through the CPU-Z program. Thank you.

    There are 2 SODIMM slots for up to 32GB (2x16GB) with DDR4 3200MHz SODIMM modules, avoid any RAM modules with XMP profile, BIOS does not support XMP profile. In Dual Channel mode (2 x 16GB) you will get the maximum clock speed of your CPU not if you add 1x16GB to the 8GB already in the laptop (24GB total RAM) that will run in Single Channel mode at a lower speed.

    Kingston recommends single rank DDR4 3200MT/s Non-ECC Unbuffered SODIMM CL22 1RX8 1.2V 260-pin 16Gbit for your laptop:

    Thanks for replying Puraw. So, I could buy two RAM memories (Kingston single rank DDR4 3200MT/s Non-ECC Unbuffered SODIMM CL22 1RX8 1.2V 260-pin 16Gbit for your laptop), as you recommend and put them each in the two slots that my laptop has? That is, replace the two 8GB memory that comes by default with the PC and put two 16GB Kingston single rank DDR4 3200MT/s Non-ECC Unbuffered SODIMM CL22 1RX8 1.2V 260-pin 16Gbit? Thank you.

    @braniegi

    Those two kits you provided will work with your laptop.

    1Rx8 ($104) and 2Rx8 ($108) have a difference in the amount of chips on each side. The performance is a bit better on the 2Rx8 RAM, but not a lot. I would go with a 2Rx8 kit since they have a similar price.

    Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
    Thank you and have a nice day!

    Thank you very much AnhEZ28. Then I will buy the 2Rx8 kit.
