not able to do updates on Acer Aspire Vero.Got message it was initializing and to try again later

I have an Acer Aspire Vero running Windows 11 that I bought in August 2023.

Yesterday I received a message stating that I had 10 critical updates awaiting installation. I tried, without success, to open the Care Centre. I then went online and downloaded an updated version of the centre in the hope that this would work.

On starting the app I got the logo and a message that it was initializing and to try again later. I waited approximately 10 minutes and retried and this time the logo and a series of dots forming a circle appeared. I waited but the dots continued to go round and round with nothing else happening. I left it overnight and this morning it was exactly the same.

Is there any way of getting this care centre to open properly so I can see what these updates are and install them if necessary?

All suggestions will be gratefully received.

Uninstall Acer Care Center it does not run well in Windows11, and you don't need it as all the options are available in Windows and the Windows updater (Check for updates) is the only update tool you should use for drivers, BIOS, security updates and Windows feature upgrades, enable the advanced Optional updates in Check for updates. If you really like to use ACC (don't limit your battery charging to 80%) you can install it from Microsoft store: https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9P8BB54NQNQ4?hl=en-US&gl=US
