Acer Nitro 5 - sound of the fan, makes buzzing or whirring noise

The front of my phone accidentally fell and dropped on its side onto the edge part of the keyboard. After that, the sound of the fan, which sounded normal, sounded as if it was buzzing or whirring. Does anyone know if the phone hitting my laptop was the cause of it, because I believe so, but I don't know.

It depends if the phone hit just right it could have changed the balance in the fan or bent something on the inside of the Keyboard deck. If its under warranty just file a claim. If its out of warranty have a local tech open it and take a look or if your comfortable you can give it a shot yourself.
