Problems with Acer Aspire 7, despite enabling DirectX 11 the FPS while gaming was stuck at 60.

I own an Acer Aspire 7 equipped with a Core i5-12450H processor and an RTX 2050 graphics card, accompanied by 8GB of RAM. I encountered an issue while attempting to run Fortnite; despite enabling DirectX 11 and uncapping my FPS, the frame rate remained stuck at 60. Even after activating performance mode, I couldn't surpass 60 FPS. After trying various solutions, I managed to address the issue. However, when utilizing stretched resolution, my FPS in Fortnite is limited to 100 instead of the expected 240 for an RTX 2050. This performance discrepancy extends to other games. I recently acquired the laptop three days ago and am unsure if it can be sent to Acer for resolution. Given that, in performance mode without stretched resolution at 1080p, I should be achieving 200 to 240 FPS, the current 100 FPS with spikes down to 70 and 60 is concerning. I urgently seek assistance and clarification on whether the laptop can be sent to Acer for issue resolution. Your help is greatly appreciated.

What is the exact Aspire 7 laptop model number, it should be something like Aspire A715-xxx-xxxx as your 12th Gen CPU Aspire 7 laptop DOES NOT have a NVidia RTX2050 GPU 😀(check the dedicated GPU model number out again, as I think you mean the RTX3050) as these laptops were either fitted with a NVidia 16 series GPU or a 30 series GPU with the 12th Gen CPU.

What you should do is this, install the latest bios and firmware drivers for your Aspire 7 laptop, and then install the latest Windows Updates, Intel Updates and the latest NVidia Game Ready drivers and also install the NVidia GeForce Experience software and play the Fortnite game through the NVidia GeForce game settings that NVidia has for this game and 1500 other major games on the market, as you will get the best fps that your GPU can work with. Also remember that the Aspire laptops even with their dedicated GPUs are NOT a gaming laptop so don't expect them to perform like an Acer Nitro or a Predator laptop that are specifically made for gaming and high-end editing. Good luck and hope this helps you out.
