This has been an issue I've been dealing with for a few years and now it's got to me. I go on sound settings, troubleshoot: no issues at all it says. I plug in the green-looking cable into the green outlet in my pc, realtek speakers says it's connected but doesn't output any sound at all. I set it to default and nothing changed. Now, I got 2 speakers for my computer and did what I just explained. All I could hear was a loud ringing sound and no audio from anything I was trying to play on my computer. Any way to solve this at all?

If you have a sound knob on the realtek speakers, try turning it up if you havent already, if that doesn't work I'd try to test it on a phone or something to see if its the computer at fault or the speakers. Hope this helped you!
