My aspire 4741Z posts, but sometimes does not continue from the post, and leaves no beeps unless it crashes (if it crashes it sometimes beeps and if it crashes at the windows logo it does not). It also only continues from the post if either i got lucky or the DVD-RW drive is open (which works 90% of the time).
