My Touch Pad doesnt work anymore on the Nitro AN515-56

my name is trim and atleast 3 days ago the touchpad was still working fine im curently using a mouse but sometimes i use the toucpad incase of the battery goes out. anyway i would really need that information on how to repair it.😫

    Boot to BIOS with F2 and change the Touchpad setting in BIOS Main screen from 12C HID to PS/2 mode or the other way around, repeat this but end with 12C HID, save settings on exit and reboot to Windows. If Touchpad is still not working uninstall the 12C HID driver with Device manager in Human Interface Devices. Make sure internet is working and just reboot. Windows11 will reinstall MS Precision and the 12C HID drivers.

    Touchpad issues are very rarely a software issue, if the touchpad worked 100% and all of a sudden it doesn't work, then its either a cable connection issue or faulty touchpad module that needs replacing, btw I've got the exact AN515-56 laptop and I've had no problems with the touchpad as I mainly and 99% of the time use a corded gaming mouse and NOT the touchpad, but if you do use the touchpad moistly, then they do get faulty and need replacing.

    Go through the software guide above but and if your touchpad doesn't work then you need to open the laptop and check the cable connecting to the touchpad or the touchpad itself below and replace appropriate components:
