Nitro AN515-54 Charging issue. the battery does not uncharge but does not charge either.

Hey, everyone.

I've got a Nitro AN515-54 (2021), and last week it came out with a much-discussed power issue. The charger is properly plugged in (don't bother about the 2-click thing), and it is working (multimeter-tested) but not charging the notebook. The battery is new.

The notebook boots and works normally; however, the orange LED keeps blinking while connected to the power cord (while the blue LED is steady). So the battery does not uncharge but does not charge either.

Any clue about that? It seems to be a pretty common issue in Nitro 5 notebooks, and it also appears to be an internal hardware thing. Any help is welcome. Thanks!

Get a 180W or 230W power adapter, the 135W is too small.

If you have the GTX 1650 model, then the 135W charger is enough. The battery orange light blinking means that the battery or charger is abnormal. Did you replace the battery recently? Try to do a power drain by turning the laptop off, unplugging the charger, and hold the power button for 10 secs.
