Acer Nitro Warranty Registration, should the date be the purchase date or the delivery date?

I recently got a new Acer Nitro laptop. When registering it on Acer's website, should the date be the purchase date or the delivery date? I know it asks for purchase date, but when purchasing online, there can be days or weeks (or more if backordered) of difference between these dates and since it is a one year warranty using the delivery date seems appropriate.

Prove of purchase date (date on the official receipt) will be the effective starting date, Acer warranty has been extended to 2 years now for most laptops.
