    Arctic MX-4 2019 Edition, Arctic MX-6 or thermal grizzly kryonaut.

    Best option is MX-6

    Make sure you use spreading method or X method while applying paste. shown in below video-

    I used PTM7950. This phase change pad switches itself into a paste at high temperature. It will have more longevity than some thermal pastes because it doesn't suffer the pump-out effect.

    Yes, it is a pad but it can replace the thermal paste. You can find some information about its performance, it performs the same as the paste. It is not like the regular thermal pad that puts on the VRAMs.

    Regarding the thermal paste, it can be used on both CPU and GPU.

    Yes, you should. And clean the vents and fans also while you are in there.

    @Muhil Oh! I didn't realize that. You will have to replace it with the same liquid metal. You can use Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut. Be careful with this one as it is conductive and might cause motherboard damage if it spills out.

    The liquid metal tube is still needed. When you disassemble the heatsink, it does not make perfect contact anymore and may affect the temperature. Usually, just clean away the one that is sitting on the surrounding die with a cotton swab, and add a tiny amount on the middle of the die.

    You can replace the thermal paste on the GPU, but the CPU has liquid metal and cannot put the thermal paste on it.

    @Muhil

    You can still change the liquid metal but it is not as easy as thermal paste. You can check some videos on YouTube to see how to do that. Or bring it to a PC repair shop so that they can help you with it.

    @AnhEZ28 is it better to leave the liquide metal as it is and put thermal paste on top of it (cpu only ) ?

    @Muhil

    No, you cannot do that. Liquid metal and thermal paste cannot be mixed together.
