What size mount? Do I need an Vesa adapter? Acer Nitro XZ306C Xwmiiiphx 29.5"

I have the Acer Nitro XZ306C Xwmiiiphx 29.5" monitor and I am trying to mount it with a Vesa Mount. I called customer support and they weren’t very helpful. All they said was that I need a 75x75 mount; most mounts are 75x75 to 100x100. On the back of the monitor, where I am supposed to attach the mount, there is an indent into the monitor, so a 100x100 won’t feet into the indent, so I would need spacers or an adapter. Not sure what to do. what size mount I need? what size screws? what size spacers, if any? or if I just need an adapter. (which in the manual it says I need but acer doesn’t sell the adapter specific to this monitor). Please help.

The monitor should have had a bracket to deal with the differing heights of the screw holes. What you can do is use standoffs to even them up, they should be either M4 or M5.
