Hello, My not even 1 year old Acer Nitro 5 has had a few problems since Dec 17, at first it would drain till it reached 29% and stayed that way despite being plugged in. I attempted to fix it by doing 2 full clean installs of windows with full file removal to rule out software issues but it did not work. However, when i tried a third time and left the computer overnight, it was able to discharge to 0%, though it hasn't changed as of writing this. The computer also stutters and beeps whenever i try to play any game that uses more than 1k mb of ram

If anyone has a fix that doesn't involve opening up the computer, and doesn't involve sending it in to repair would be appreciated as this is the only computer i am able to access and my job requires a computer.

Sounds like your adapter is not powerful enough to keep the battery fully charged, if you have the 135W model get a 180W power adapter and keep the adapter plugged in 24/7 and the battery charged 100%, do not use 80% battery limiting programs. Clean installing Windows is not the best way to fix hardware issues, if you don't want to bring the laptop back to the retailer or to Acer Services in your country you can try to reset BIOS (press F9 in BIOS and save settings when you exit BIOS). BTW the system discharges to 3% and then shuts down, zero % would damage the cells prevented by the Windows Power Plan settings (if you haven't changed that setting).
