Hello everybody! I have recently bought an Acer Spin714-2WN-50A2(Intel Core i5-1335U 14inch WUXGA IPS touch 16GB 256GB) and as I realized later my device doesn't have the fingerprint sensor. It does have the stylus pen and the manufacturer date is 26/09/2023. I wonder why as one of the product features online is also the fingerprint. If anyone can help me understand I would be very glad! Thank you all for your time and wish you all the best ! ☺️

The stylus is part of this Chromebook: "Beneath the left front corner, you will find the stylus garage that also recharges the stylus". If that is missing contact the retailer. Fingerprint sensor is a Windows Hello feature not applicable for Androids, you don't need that.

Dear friend, thank you for you answer! The stylus pen is there. No problem with that! On this Chromebook though there's a fingerprint sensor. Now , I know it's an extra feature that I don't necessarily need but I since the device is not cheap and there are different versions of spin714, I want to know if the money I spent is for the specific product or just another version .

    ☺️

    Hi,

Acer states for the Built-in Fingerprint Reader: "Specifications may vary depending on model and/or region". So, if this is not working/present you have the Spin 714 CP714-2W or CP714-2WN, confirmed in this link:

That was really helpful! I guess it's the seller's fault but anyway, the product is excellent after all! Thank you very much for your help! Kind regards, Olga
