Hello everybody,

So I am trying to find the drivers for the Aspire 5250 to download and when I enter the model# or the SNID# it says not found. Is this such an old laptop to where Acer doesn't carry the drivers in their database anymore? I personally find that hard to believe but that is what Acer gives me when I enter in the numbers and I've tried a few different times. Is there any other place that has the drivers? Any help is very much appreciated. Thank you, cweklund

Sorry I forgot to add that I also downloaded the Acer Updater and it came up with zero results as well. Thanks, cweklund

This Windows7, 2011 legacy laptop is no longer supported by Acer and Microsoft. Also W8.1 has been phased out this year so you won't be able to install or activate W8.1 either. If you want to continue using your laptop you can try to install Ubuntu (Linux) maybe Bios will support that. BTW. there are entry-level Aspire 3 laptops on sale (Amazon) for $300+ with Windows10-11. 😉

I actually have windows 10 already installed on it, but there is no other place off the top of your head that you know of to get the drivers? Thanks, cweklund
