Search Windows start menu "activation". Click activation near top of menu. Click 'change product key'. Enter Acer OEM key. Key should be on a back of screen label or on the original packaging UPC label.

If not, search Windows start menu again 'cmd'. Right click command prompt near top of menu. Click run as administrator. Enter 'wmic os get serialnumber' The result should be the Acer OEM key.

What version W7, W10 or W11? How did you install Windows: Clean, cloned or restored from a back up disk? What devices: SSD or a mechanical HDD, what PC, full model number (not the SNID). An Acer OEM Windows key is stored on the original EPROM so if you did not change PC/motherboard Windows activation should be automatic but no longer for Windows7 to Windows10.
