Hello,

I am experiencing unpleasant behavior on my Swift SF114-34 laptop. Sometimes, in the least expected situations, it does not wake up from sleep.

The power LED then lights up normally (blue) but the screen remains black. When you press any key, the keyboard backlight lights up but nothing is visible on the screen. I then have to hold down the Power key for a longer time to turn the laptop off and then turn it on again. Unfortunately, you lose your data if you don't save it before going to sleep. I have the same issue with my second Swift 1 (SF114-32 N5000) What to do?

Please find attached report on my hardware and software.

It sounds like you have an app installed that doesn't respond well to sleep conditions. One option is to hibernate instead of sleeping, it takes a bit longer to come back and you need to actually press the power button instead of just hitting a key, but it takes the system fully down to a power off state yet allows you to wake with everything still there. The other option is to figure out which app is causing the problem and just remove it. :)
