I recently bought a laptop - ACER Aspire 5 A515-57-708E NX.K3KEX.007 (2 months ago). I am extremely disappointed with the manufacturer's claims of 6-7 hours of battery life. Mine lasts a maximum of 2 hours and that's without playing games, just internet browsing. I tried restarting it from the back where the pin hole is. And it's with that usability again. I'm using Windows 11.

P.P.
My old laptop, which is an Acer Aspire A515-51, did not have this problem, it lasted 3-4 hours after 1-2 years of use.

Advertised life is usually at low screen brightness levels 50% or less and minimal activity meaning no internet browsing, especially youtube videos.

You can check your battery's remaining full charge capacity by going to the elevated command prompt. Enter 'powercfg /batteryreport'.

Then return to the desktop. Open file explorer.

Then search for' battery-report.html' in the c:\windows\system32\ sub-folder. Double-click to open it in the browser. Compare design full charge capacity with its remaining full charge capacity.

Post screenshot of the first part of the report if possible.

For me, there is a defect in the battery. I don't watch videos or play games; I only use a web browser for work with my online store. It doesn't make sense that my old Acer laptop should last longer with higher consumption. (I used to play games and watch 24/7 YouTube.) I want to change the battery. Tell me what I need and where to order.

Google search the battery part no. 'ap18c8k' for vendors who ship to your location. But I doubt it will make much difference. Because your system is probably set with screen brightness too high, a 3rd party virus scanner like nor ton or mca f ee running in the background, the battery saver app disabled, and/or Edge or Chrome browsers which are notorious energy hogs. You should switch to FireFox for better energy usage.
