My acer spin 3 sp314-53n-77aj won't turn on

Was using my acer spin 3 perfectly last night, but when I went to turn it on today it wouldn't work. Both lights by the power button have been blue and have stayed blue all day, but when I try to use the power button to turn it on, nothing happens. The fan doesn't turn on, the keyboard doesn't light up, nothing.

I tried doing the generic problem solving steps of unplugging everything and flipping the laptop over and putting the pin the battery hole, but that hasn't worked. Any suggestions?

This model is 4-years old so probably the warranty is expired. Try the Power Drain procedure by opening the back of the laptop:
Power drain + CMOS reset: Open the back of the laptop and disconnect the battery cable from the motherboard. Locate the CMOS module (with 2 twisted wires Red and Black, see picture) and remove the coin battery. Shorten the +/- contacts inside the CMOS capsule for 2 seconds with a bended paperclip and put the coin battery back with the + sign facing up, close the CMOS capsule. Secure the DDR4 SODIMM (unseat and reseat the module firmly in the slot) Next, press the Power Button on the keyboard for 10-15 seconds after that reconnect the battery cable to the motherboard. Close the laptop, plug-in the adapter and try to boot.

So I did this, but it didn't work. When I tried to turn it on, the battery light turned back on as orange, the light bulb light turned back on as blue, and then there was nothing else. The screen didn't turn on, the back light for the keyboard didn't turn on, nor did the fan turn on

IMO the battery is dead, indicated by the amber charging LED. You could try to boot with the power adapter only by disconnecting the battery again, if you can boot that would confirm a depleted battery that no longer can be charged. (Not all laptops boot with only the adapter). Acer recommends these batteries for your model: KT.0030G.021 or KT.0020G.011 or KT.0020G.011
