acer aspire 7 a715-42g replacing a new display. whether i can replace display which has high power

hello everyone i have also some problem mine laptop is acer aspire 7 a715-42g display got broken so mine display is lp156wfh sp d1 which has total power connsumption of 3.50W and i have suitable replacement named after nv156fhm-n48 which has total power connsumption of 4.69W so is it ok to replace the display with nv156fhm-n48 ? Thank You

Bring the laptop to Acer Services in your country and ask them to replace that panel for you, it will save you a lot of headaches and you will get the laptop back under Acer repair warranty: There is the bezel space (gaps), the pins of the cable plug, will you be able to replace it without damaging something else and will the new panel work, not worth it. 😉

ok i got it but i do not have any service center under 500km and i am out of warranty and i couldnt find any exact model of the display, apart from bezzels and cable plug, is the power comsumption does matter?

The replacement display should work fine. As long as it has the same EDP connector. Make sure that you disconnect the battery before proceeding to replace the screen (Very important! The motherboard can be damaged while connecting the EDP cable if you do not disconnect the battery)
